Brillhart Law is officially open.
After years defending insurance companies, then helping lead a fast-growing personal injury practice group, I have opened my own litigation practice in Lakewood Ranch, Florida. The firm handles personal injury, workers’ compensation, and select civil litigation matters, and I am licensed in Florida, Missouri, and Kansas.
Why a solo litigation practice
Most injury firms are built on volume. A name goes on the billboard, and your file goes to whoever has capacity. That model works fine for the firm. It works less well for the person whose case it is.
Brillhart Law is built on the opposite idea. There is one attorney here, and it is the one you hired. I evaluate the case, I work the case, and I return the calls. That is the whole promise behind the firm’s slogan: Adam is On it.
What I handle
- Personal injury. Car and truck accidents, negligence claims, and injury-related insurance disputes. My insurance defense background means I know how the other side values and fights these cases.
- Workers’ compensation. Helping injured workers get medical care and wage benefits, and fighting denied claims, in three different state systems.
- Civil litigation. Select disputes that need a trial lawyer: insurance coverage fights, contract disputes, and other civil matters.
Where I practice
The firm is based in Lakewood Ranch and serves the Sarasota, Bradenton, and greater Tampa Bay area. With bar admissions in Florida, Missouri, and Kansas, I can also handle matters in the Midwest, where I practiced for years.
